Courtland Park is a sub-neighborhood within the community of Carleton Heights. It's located in the River Ward, in the west end of Ottawa. To the east, it is bordered by the Rideau River, with Prince of Wales Drive running the length of the neighborhood. Just over 2,800 people call it home. Many of the original homes there were built before 1970, but there was further development that took place in the 1970s, and early 1980s, when townhouses were created. A number of the older homes have been demolished, and newer homes have been built in their place.
